Dave has a degree in marketing from Lamar University, Beaumont, TX 1972. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and President of Evans Financial Group. He has been married to his wife Gale for over 40 years and they have one son, Colin. Dave and Gale attend Church at Red River.

Colin graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Financial Analysis and Insurance and is the Vice President of Evans Financial Group. In following the footsteps of his father he joined him 9 years ago.

Judy Gossett, Vice President of Administration & Group Division, joined Evans Financial Group in 1995 and is a licensed life and health agent. Judy, art administration major, owned and operated an art studio for nine years in South Carolina where she was also President of the Arts Council and on the Board of Directors for the theatre. Judy brings 18 years of administrative experience to Evans Financial Group. She and her husband of 45 years are active members of the University Church of Christ.
